Bakrie University Collaborates with Djppr Ministry of Finance, Strengthening State Financial Literacy for Students
Jakarta, 30 June 2026 – Bakrie University officially collaborated with the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which was held at the Bakrie Tower Auditorium, Floor 42. This activity was also held in conjunction with the State Finance and Investment Literacy Workshop which was attended by students of the Bakrie University Accounting and Management Study Program.
The signing of the MoU was carried out by the Deputy Chancellor I of Bakrie University, Mr. Tri Pujadi Susilo, together with the Head of the Communication and Information Services Section of the DJPPR Ministry of Finance, Mr. Wawan Sugiyarto. Also present at this activity was the Head of the Accounting Study Program, Bakrie University management, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Finance's DJPPR.
In his speech, Deputy Chancellor I of Bakrie University, Mr. Tri Pujadi Susilo, said that this collaboration is a strategic step to strengthen collaboration between universities and the government in preparing graduates who have competence and a good understanding of state financial management. "Bakrie University welcomes the collaboration with the Ministry of Finance's DJPPR. We hope that this collaboration will not only provide new insights for students, but also open up various opportunities for collaboration in the fields of education, research, and competency development that are relevant to the needs of the world of work," he said.
After the signing of the MoU, the activity continued with a State Financial and Investment Literacy Workshop delivered by Mr. Wawan Sugiyarto. In this session, students gained an understanding of managing state financing, the strategic role of DJPPR in supporting national development, as well as the importance of financial literacy and investment as preparations for facing economic dynamics in the future.
Through this collaboration, Bakrie University hopes to continue to expand collaboration with various government agencies in providing learning that is applicable and relevant to the needs of industry and the public sector. It is hoped that collaboration between the world of education and the government will be able to produce competent graduates and have a real impact on both parties.
